Data and privacy policies

Boardsay is a sharable multimedia white board app on which you, the user can draw with fingertip or touchpen, can post some types of files such as pictures, to share things with anyone you want. The app is also a handy notepad to record any desultory ideas or well-considered plans.

The app of Boardsay is developed and operated by us, Boardsay team from BITSHARE TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD., a Singapore based company.

Below describes the data and privacy policy of the information you provide and we may process to support the services of the app.

1、Data and information we may collect

For the purpose of normally providing the services of the app, we may process some information about you and your device the app runs on. The types of information we collect depend on how you use the app. You can learn of it as you trigger some functions of the app and the app may alert you and let you know.

(1) About the information and content you provide.

We collect the content, communications and other information you provide when you use the app, including when you sign up for an account, create or share content, and message or when you communicate with others. This can include information in or about the content you provide, such as the date a file was created. The app may automatically process content and communications you and others provide to analyze context.

You can choose to provide or not about the information such your avatar, or your age. Some information could be subject to special protections under the laws of your country.

(2) About the networks and connections. We collect information about the people, accounts, and groups you are connected to and how you interact with them across the app. We also collect contact information if you contact others, which may helping you and others you may know find more contacts or friends and for the other purposes to provide appropriate services we think.

(3) About usage information. We collect information about how you use the app, such as the types of content you view or engage with, the actions you take, the people or accounts you interact with, and the time, frequency and duration of your activities on the app.

(4) About the information others do to you or about you. We also receive and analyze content, communications and information that other people provide when they use the app. This may include information about you, such as when others share a photo of you, send a message about you, or upload, synchronize or import your contact information.

(5) About the information of the device the app runs on

As described below, we collect information from and about the phones you use that integrate with the app. For example, we use information collected about your use of the app on your phone to better personalize the content.

Information we may obtain from these devices includes:

1) Device attributes: information such as the operating system, hardware and software versions, battery level, signal strength, available storage space, browser type, app and file names and types, and plugins.

2)  Device operations: information about operations and behaviors performed on the device, such as whether a window is foregrounded or backgrounded.

3)  Identifiers: unique identifiers, device IDs, and other identifiers, such as from games, apps or accounts you use.

4)  Device signals: Bluetooth signals, and information about nearby Wi-Fi access points, beacons, and cell towers.

5)  Data from device settings: information you allow us to receive through device settings you turn on, such as access to your GPS location, camera or photos.

6)  Network and connections: information such as the name of your mobile operator or ISP, language, time zone, mobile phone number, IP address, connection speed.

2、Privacy policies

It’s important to let you know how your data or information is used. These are the principles that direct us to use and protect the data and information.

(1) Control your privacy

You can control the types of information the app may collect by turn on or off the privacy controls in the device settings or the app settings. We also can develop more settings based on user feedbacks.

(2) Know when the data is used

We can let you know when we collect the information and the app may give alerts or popup hints windows for the first time.

(3) Incorporate privacy protection into the app

We design privacy protection into the app following guidance from experts in the areas of data protection and privacy law and security. We build these features into every stage of product development.

(4) Keep your information secure

We take many measures to keep your information secure such as strongly encrypting password, safely data transfer and data store, strictly limiting data usage purposes and scopes. Especially, the data will never expose to any irrelevant third party.

(5) Delete your information as you want

You own the information you create or share on the app. This means you decide what you create and share and who you share it with. You can delete any content you create or share, and even you can delete your account whenever you want.

(6) Expect more measures about policy practices

We will constantly work to develop new methods to enhance the protection of data and information, such as comprehensive privacy reviews or release products through rigorous data security testing. Also, we may meet with regulators, legislators and privacy experts to better data practices and policies.
